Commentary

These results show much the same trends as in the recent Schools in Portugal.
The scientific content of the programme scores well, with the best marks being given for the most interactive sessions, that is the workshops and case presentations.

The main objective of the School, to establish new professional links between doctors from different European countries, scores very highly, and there is strong support for continuing the School in the same general format. Adjustments will be made to the programme next year to take account of individual suggestions made on the forms and verbally during the course itself.
